Jack Peters | Senior Vice President of Advisor Development

Jack is responsible for advisor recruiting and training. Jack’s 29 years in the Financial Services Industry qualifies him in brokerage statement analysis, tax return opportunities and implementing the Horter Investment Management, LLC low risk, and low volatility investment management platform. Jack will also market the Horter Investment Management, LLC platform with fixed index annuities in Cincinnati to retirees and pre-retirees.

Lee Putz | Vice President of Advisor Development

Lee has over 35 years in Sales, Training and Management positions with major Life and Financial Services companies. This includes completing his CLU and Series 6, 63, 65 and 26. Lee will be assisting Jack Peters in advisor recruiting and training including home office and field sales activities with advisors and representatives to support the growth of their individual practices.

Scott Roberts | Vice President of Advisor Development

With over 20 years of diverse sales, investment and management experience in the financial services industry, along with having held FINRA licenses 7, 63, 9 and 10, Scott enjoys mentoring our advisors and coaching them on how to enhance and add value to the relationships they have with their clients. A graduate of the University of Cincinnati and degree in Psychology, Scott is sensitive to the needs of the high net worth investor and understands that financial planning can be emotionally challenging at times.

Michael Funcheon | Vice President of Advisor Development

Mike began his career in financial services when he joined Shearson American Express in 1983 in Hartford Connecticut. He married a Cincinnati native that same year, and when they decided to start their family, it was natural to migrate back to her home town. In 1989, Mike was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager. In 1990, he was selected to join the Branch Manager Training program. In it, he was trained on coaching and mentoring early-career advisors, as well as how to motivate more seasoned producers.

Joe Egloff | Executive Vice President of Advisor Developement

I started my career in the financial services industry 17 years ago. I worked in various different roles including sales as well as management positions with two well-known financial service companies. Those roles required that I obtained my Series 7, 9, 10, 63, 66 and Life and Health Insurance licenses.

During my career, whether as a manager or sales representative, I always practiced doing what is in the client’s best interest through listening to their objectives, challenges, needs and the impact financial decisions will have on their financial goals.

Jason started his career in the financial industry over 18 years ago. He progressed rapidly through the management hierarchy with major financial service companies. Covering sales, management, training, and advisory roles. This includes completing his Series 6, 63, Life and Health Licenses.

Brian has been in the financial services industry to over 14 years guiding both clients and advisors on their investment strategies. His primary focus has been on service and education for developing lasting relationships with his clients. A “Low Risk and Low Volatility” wealth planning strategy helps clients maximize gains and minimize risk and losses. Brian’s focus is on ensuring that every client’s situation is looked at as unique, and there is not one solution that fits all. As a fiduciary every recommendation is custom tailored to meet each client’s individual needs and goals.

He possesses a passion for educating people and helping others, which reflects in his service to his clients. He enjoys public speaking and delivering educational seminars. While upholding Horter’s approach to working with clients on an individual and personalized basis, Jeff knows each person’s situation is unique and there is no cookie cutter approach to delivering financial advice.
